Another Miracle

I am thankful to GOD for a full size stretched out reclining seat (8B) on flight 82 Last Night. I was greeted by the United gate agent with a new boarding card. She bumped me to a nicer "Class" of service. I didn't even ask, I didn't even try... How did she even know my name?
I got my boarding card in Fresno, it was seat 13E. When I tried to hand to the agent when boarding, she reffused it and looked at me and said "Roger Telegan" right... I said "howd you know" she rplied... Because I'm really good... In bewilderment I just said to her ok and took the card she handed me and saw me seat assignment was changed. When I got on the plane I saw the big leather recliner and down comforter. It was time to sleep.

Our God is great, he provides for us in little ways we can't imagine, and sometimes in ways we can. Sure UAL is nice. But Jesus Christ is Amazing!

I wish someone in the media would ask Obama what he really meant by this.....

We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

   - look @ 16:45 into the video

It’s not quite clear what Obama meant by this. If he meant that the military had taken over too many functions that normally should be handled by the State Department, then that echoes what Defense Secretary Robert Gates said this week. It seems to reference the costs associated with reopening consulates and doubling the Peace Corps, but that wouldn’t come close to matching what we spend at the Pentagon. The phrasing of it — a “civilian national security force” — sounds much more like a quasi-military organization operating within the US under the control of the federal government.

rixxross is asking:
How has no one in the media questioned Obama on his idea to have a Civilian force as large and well funded as the military? An additional $400 billion a year in spending should warrant some media coverage, more than how much he sweats in my opinion.

Proposition 8 Yard Sign Stolen this evening...

Well it has happened to us too....

Tonight I found that our Prop. 8 Yard Sign was missing from our front yard.

1. It is my FRONT YARD and my Free Speach that the LEFT WING is trying to restrict....

(I am more than prepared to push back!)

2. Filed a Police report... (I did not call 911, I used the non-emergency number)The Police Officer responding took this very seriously and responded VERY quickly... He meant business.  I told the officer that I intend to electrify the next Proposition 8 Yard Sign.

The officer laughed and said you do what every you need to, it's your sign and your yard... and you can do what ever you feel is necessary to your "sign".  To that I asked.... what If I feel it is necessary to cause the sign to blow up or explode? What if I shoot at the sign in my front yard if someone get's near it.  He did not want to comment... he just chuckled and said he thought I would use good judgment.

K.O. & Roger - Dinner while attending the CDA North

K.O. and I walked from Moscone Center to E Tutto Qua, wow what a walk.  We had to stop and ask the S.F. Police for directions.  When I asked where is E Tutto Qua, the officer new exactly where we needed to go... but he did not offer to drive us there.

CDA North September 2008 - K.O. enjoys a steak!

This is K.O's  Steak... it looked wonderfull. Alyssa and I were looking for a place to eat on while "I was working" in S.F with Nicholas over the July 4th (2008) weekend.  The owner of this resturant E Tutto Qua stopped us on the sidewalk while we were walking by and insisted that we come in and have lunch... I am so glad we did.   Alyssa had Riggatoni with a Alfredo sauce and ProsciuttoLink. K.O. has the steak in this photo!

Six Perfect Days

Starting out from Fresno we head to FAT ... that's the place where all the Air Planes hang out. Alyssa and I have been anticipating the adventure/vacation since January 2008. I have been dreaming of "getting away from it all" with my wife since before Nicholas was born. Nicholas is now 19 months old and there are two ways to look at a 19 month old.

1. Just watch him play and explore...learn, climb and laugh... he is a "get-away" I'd rather watch him that watch anything else...

2. 19 month old children are a lot of work and love to push all your buttons...and then scream! and run away with what ever it was you had that they new you did not want them to have.. ie: Cell Phone, Scissors, important work paper...

The GOAL Relax, Recharge, Enjoy!

There was a point about a month ago when we both thought that there was no way we could take Nicholas on this "Vacation" for if we did it would not be a "Vacation" at all.

LoisAnn my wonderfull mother-law arrived at our drive-way @ 8:40AM April 25th, and called from her Cell Phone to announce "I am here" .... Alyssa and I were frantically trying to pack all the "stuff" we would need for 6 days in Hawaii ... Plus the 4 days in Anaheim for the CDA Imideatly following our Vacation. How is it possible to pack for two adults and a small child for a 10 day trip using just 4 bags? It seems that Alyssa figured it all out. And I want to point out I was the frantic one. Alyssa was very calm and collected and kept repeating ... just calm down it will all be just fine... She held this composure of calm, cool and well prepared ... until we were half way to the FAT ... and Alyssa said... where is the Umbrella Stroller! LoisAnn let out with a chuckle... "It's in there"

More ... and some observations about Nicholas's First Plane Ride ....
